Have to show the examples of modernization critiques. Opportunities: talk about opportunities around the world that exist in the book to improve development outcomes. Take in more outside sources opposed to just the book. (not evaluating the book, discuss opportunities that the book/course arises that improves development outcomes. Discuss the point from the book, in relation to course content/examples. Find how these ideas may be a good one for development outcomes. Threats: (similar to opportunities) discuss threats around the orld that could impede efforts to pursue the changes desired by the author. For this assignment, students will review the book confessions of an economic. Aka: apply knowledge learned in class to evaluate relevance of the book.
