Document Summary

When answering homework quesions be sure to address: Carry out a research study (an empirical observaion that involves objecive observaion) and then perform descriptive. In which case: m, f and other would be the variable levels. Males are generally taller relaionship between variables. Systemaic relaionship: when it is consistent or lawful: based on previous observaions, predict new observaions (diferent people, diferent imes). Inducive logic is used when: you take a sample conclusions about the populaion. In order to decrease the chance that your sample is atypical: random sampling is used. You can also increase the sample size to decrease the probability that you have an atypical sample: explain why the observed relaionship between variables occurs. (give the cause) i. e. the amount of cofee consumed vs. alertness. Use a raing scale in order to determine the subjecive variable the answer will be objecive. Idea: something you have not directly observed but you think is the origin of the answer theory.
