We can never really understand what it is like to be in someone else s shoes or live their life. Answering the why question: the difficult case of tania patricia hearst: girl studying with her boyfriend, someone rings the bell, 3 people enter who beat the boyfriend and abduct the girl. After 8 days, the father who was very wealthy was requested to distribute food and money to poor people. The group that abducted the woman were part of a group that stands up for the poor. For 3 months they made demands from the father and held patricia. She then made a statement on the radio saying she wasn t brainwashed, tortured, hypnotized or anything. She said she was given the choice to stay with the people and fight for the freedom of poor people or be released; she chose to stay.
