Non-human animals will have culture: non-geneically transmited and maintained behaviour . Able to compare the ways in which cultural aciviies are shared and the ways that they difer interspeciically. It is reasonable to assume that the geneic/physiological basis for human cultural acivity may be shared with other primates (though it might turn out that way) Culture is informaion capable of afecing individuals" behaviour that they acquire from members of their species through teaching, imitaion and other forms of social transmission . Paterns of behaviour that are transmited repeatedly through social or observaional learning to become a populaion wide characterisic .
