Can follow laws in the same way that scientific phenomena does. replace religious dogma with scientific knowledge, need new international scientific elite. Has to fulfill function of religion on the old order thorugh positivism application of sceitnific principles to all natural nd human phenomena, no more mysterious causes. post-revolutionary society can regain unity with new scientific elite to replace spiritual authority of the church, science is the main force. sees class division as continuing elitist. Those with money are going to align themselves iwth the most enlightened group, will bring about a stable social order with control regained in society.
