Observation: informed consent (necessary for people to agree to be a part of the study) Deception (some say that we need to deceive others for the purpose of the study then this is up to research ethics: anonymity, con dentiality. Humphries knew the identities of the people in the study but he refused to give their identities. Not ethical but good because he didn"t give out their names. We have a committee that will review the study and decide if they want to fund it.
