Mostly closed ended question (yes, or no, non-applicable, choosing a number on a scale etc. ) Interviewer controls the pace and direction of interview. The environment is not that important for this type of interview. Does not require a lot of experience (no specific skills are needed to provide a survey interview) You do need skill making the question guide. The beginning and the end are not clear, and the interview can be picked up later. Questions and order are determined by who you are interviewing and why.
