Typically have elements of all three! y need to explore, then describe, then be able to have an explanation. See the three purposes in other aspects of research design. **when going through textbook make sure you have key terms and definitions!! Do not only read that, but they are important! The unit of observation would be the individuals within the family . Can analyze households, or places like a gym the unit of observation would still be the individuals that form the group.
