Come prepared to class (do the readings beforehand) Final exam has two questions of 500 words each. 5 questions in each: 2 for participation and 3 quiz questions. Something to keep in mind: we need a successful offspring in order to carry on the family. A lot happens that we do not see as an outsider. Murdock 1949: a social group characterized by a common residence, economic co- production and reproduction. It includes adults of both sexes at least two of whom have an approved sexual relationship and one or more children. The adults have parental relationships with their children as children have filial relationships with them.
