The eskimos have adapted well to the environment due to the tools that they have used. The families sleep together on a platform made up of caribou skin and snow. They use the sea fat after they catch one to make oil by using the antler from a caribou. Dry skin boots are softened by the women normally by using fire and pulling with her mouth. Eskimo infants are nursed until they are three and their life is spent with close physical contact. The hunters gather for a ritual which includes sharing the liver of the animal that they caught. Children grow up with a sense of belonging and are often times very close to their parents.
