In school, boys are more accepting of making mistakes in public while females are more likely to try to figure things out themselves privately. Public schools teach you how to follow rules versus private schools give the kids options as they have a better financial opportunity in the future (hidden curriculum, first bur) Anticipatory socialization: learning that helps achieves a desired position.
