Better at talking through things, problem solving, deescalate violent crimes. 5 distinct force options: people stop them from committing crimes. One higher level of force from which they are confronted. 1) officer presence: the presence of an officer will automatically make most. 5) lethal force: use of a weapon that can lead to death. 2) dialogue: just talking to people can lead to voluntary compliance. Female officer use communication to enhance their community. 3) empty hands: use some physical force to put your hands on people.
