The canadian government created the police/army to enforce rules and keep naions safe: marxist. The key funcion of government is to help capitalist society: liberal-democraic. It"s an insituion within a naion to provide security. Crimes of the state: the police abuse their power and take it to their advantage. The government makes fear in order to coninue to funcion: war is a crime that the state could commit. War is the biggest one: they can commit crimes against their own ciizens and other naions. Repressive strategies: army/intelligence services, criminal jusice system. The cjs is a means of social oppression.
