Creation of the superpredator myth (unkown breed associated with criminals) 1960s kids were married and had kids much younger, had more responsibilities. Looking at what happens to society as certain times. Society has a number of things that will change when thinking about what young people are. Changing ideas of expectations teenagers have different roles now than what we did before. The myth that nothing changes: youth crime is consistently the same in the past and today, we just have different crimes now cyber, technology has changed drastically. Need to be more tough on youth crime. Law /amend -> : people are never satisfied, creates a never ending cycle. Problem of lenient vs. harsh treatment for youth offenders. Youth crime is too lenient depending on circumstances tend to be more harsher. Add amenamence - changes in legislation and people still not satisfied with how crime is dealt with in society.
