lD82R For as long as he cannot tell true from false beliefs, every belief that he is presented with might as well be false Although not all oh his beliefs are mistaken, any of them CAN be Further difficulty with rejecting all beliefs that come from the sense Some very basic and apparently evident beliefs come from senses If one were to reject these basic beliefs then one in no different from crazy people Any crazy people are not reliable for any kind of philosophical theory Solution – instead of acting like an insane person, he imagines the possibility that all his sensory perceptions are parts of a dream Claims that it is impossible to reliably tell whether one is dreaming or not, since dreams often look very much like reality Isthereanythingthat we can sayaboutourideasifweassume that we are in a dream? The ideas I have must have come from somewhere
