Defined as a result from our actions and determining where we are reborn and nature of our future experiences. + some argue it"s a kind of subtle matter while some depict it as a psychological karma. + most important factor: intention -> actions only produce effects/ karma (and then receive that results later) Kill ants intentionally: better but still bad karma. + action leaves residue in mind results of emotional state when action was performed. + predisposition(trend) to return to that emotional state. Kusala karma (good actions): positive acts good results and happiness in life. Akusala (bad actions): involves in stealing, killing or violence. The weight of karma depends on factors such as frequency (how many times your actions are repeated), intentional action and action w/o regret. Jains: no killing in anyway could not be farmers. + every action and its reaction was connected to karma. + (mis)fortunes, fire, accidents, sickness, losing money were related to karma.
