Must meet requirements and apply to be licensed under administrative tribunals. Misconduct is handled through the tribunal, ex. lose your license, suspension, ne, etc. Not used in saskatchewan in court as much as they used to. Today, not used in any great extent, and rarely for criminal cases. Historically, did not require a law degree. often would be retired police of cers, etc. Important role: empowered to release less serious offenders on bail. Deals with about 95% of all criminal cases.
