Document Summary

When there is not enough nutrients they change dramatically like shape or adapt. Required balanced nutrition: c,n,p,o,h,s but they are also the micronutrients required leads to mini cells or microcells. Glucose is a strong electron donor and oxygen is strong electron acceptor, in the process they go through other molecules that are specialized in moving the molecules. Bacteria utilize a variety of nutrients to start their metabolism. The micro gradients determines the pathways from the molecules. There is a niche of bacteria that can use the nutrients that grow in the environment. Small molecules break down into carbon dioxide. The plants use light and water and carbon dioxide to build complex molecules for metabolism, most of the energy comes from light. Organotrophy: bacteria cell is able to use organic molecules as well as inorganic molecules. Organic molecules can get into the bacteria but they are very small. Lithotrophy do not require organic molecules: can only use one carbon molecule.
