Theban saga: early (cid:498)history(cid:499) of thebes, europa and cadmus, europa and crete. Europa and cadmus were no greeks from phoenecia (modern day lebanon) Europa was walking aroundin the city with her maiden friends. A majestic beautiful white bull came along, all the maidens were scared except for europa, who makes friends with the bull (or zeus). Eventually she climbed on top of him, and immediately zeus (bull) ran off with her, dove through the rivers, took her away to crete and had his way with her (sex lol) Crete is often associated with bulls (religons an culture associated with bulls: cadmus and thebes. Cadmus decides to go to the oracle of delphi, the oracle find her, she was last seen cavorting with a very attractive large bull. When europa is missing, cadmus"s father tells him to go says to not worry about her, (cid:498)she"s fine(cid:499). (cid:523))n greek terms, she gets to have divine children so its all good)
