From the city of argos (north eastern part of pelopenisus) Has a magical birth, or a bunch of magical things given to him. More of a folk tale than a saga. Mostly, he helping his mother, helped by athena, and ines a prominent wiife. Perseus is a son of zeus but hera doesn"t pursue him not really in conlict with females. Gilgamesh on a quest of immortality, he reconciles that he"ll never be immortal see a common theme that heroes are on a quest for immortality. Perseus doesn"t have a decent of the mortal thing, chill about being a hero: birth and childhood, birth: acrisius, danae and the golden rain. Acrisius king of argos received a prophecy that his daughter danae will have a son that will kill him he built a bronze chamber to protect his daughter from men. Zeus comes along as a golden shower which made her pregnant.
