Use the grammar check" in your word processor to locate sentence fragments or run on sentences. Aim for a sentence length of 15-20 words. Replace overly complicated and redundant phrases with simple ones. Remove unnecessary adjectives and adverbs (e. g. absolutely essential -> essential) Avoid jargon (words and phrases only people in a particular group would understand) Main content of your work report describes the technical processes you have used to address the problem in your work place. For math: describe your analysis and how you used math to try and explore your problem. Walk your reader through the technical process, experimentation, or analysis. Explain the process to your audience and show the steps you have taken to address it.
