But being challenged in europe 1920; germany stopped to try to change & expand. Gb being challenged by germany & us/ other states who are trying to build. 1890-1914, france had 43 diff. govt. w/ diff. Pms: 1870-71- fought germany, pieced off little piece of france (alsace , humiliated from loss to germany, france & russia allies b/c france major lender of loans to russia. Nation of many nationalities; czech republics, slovakia, croatia etc. Empire is in serious danger b/c there are a lot of unhappy minorities (^) they want. Ah is big but weak militarily, austria tends to lean on ally germany more to say on their own affair, why are they being ruled by a german family (austrians speak german) Wants to be considered a great power.
