As china and india and south africa rev up economic engine and people get pulled out of poverty to we see as middle class, they are currently relying on some dirty starvation toward middle class)* power) Would be both unethical and hypocritical to force countries to stop using coal because we have overcome/passed through our coal stage but they cannot at this point in time. No way for whole world to live as north america does ex. 2 cars (even from an environmental perspective and not just economic, we cannot sustain)
