Negative attitudes do not always lead to negative behaviors, social expectations may change this: there is no relationship between genetics and attitudes. Aging is medicalized; always look at negative sides of aging, not the positive. Medical students, many of them do not choose geriatrics. Introduce positive aspects to aging: generalized attitudes have implications for a range of behaviors, rather than strong affects on specific behaviors. When looking at attitudes, they have all kinds of behaviors, they do influence us to a certain degree, they just do not have a big impact on us.
