Usually two sides, get involved in legal battle. Hire lawyers to fight for your interest. Lawyers job is to act on your behalf. Not interested in getting a fair result, interested in winning, only protecting your side- Non partisan- favouring out interest, biased in your favour not your opponent. Lawyers approach dispute like a legal battle, ideal result is victory. Becoming a lawyer means engaging in conflict. Law is highly technical, three layers of government passing laws and regulations, new laws are being passed every single day, impossible to keep up with every single law. Lawyers usually specialize in one kind of law e. g. , immigration, family law, human rights advocate etc. Judges are technically lawyers, have been trained in law, worked for prestige law firms before they became a judge. Judges play an extremely impotent role in our justice system, highly respected and important, judges are tenured can"t be fired easily.
