King then beat repeatedly (56 times) by police batons. Able to trigger fear of king because of his race, lack of cooperation, etc. Riots occurred which resulted in over a billion dollars in damage. Two of the four officers went to prison. It"s not about what you see, but how you interpret it that matters. Majority pressing on the few that disagree.
