Attachment  Harlow Monkeys study o Isolation of monkeys in the cage o After 6 months later joined monkeys o Social disturbances o Bit selves, rocked, avoided others o Females ignored or attacked babies o Part II- surrogate mothers were given to the monkeys  Choice version – with the soft mum and the hard-headed mum (with food) (look slides)  No choice version & scary stimuli  If monkeys have choices, they will only go to the hard headed mums for food but if not hungry, will stay to the soft mum
