Test trial: 7 people get it wrong people will call long short 38% of time. 70% of people give at least one wrong answer (but know the correct answer) concerned asch: smart well-meaning people can be swayed. Normative social influence: we seek social approval/avoid disapproval: to be liked , evolutionary background.
