Document Summary
Research designs influence how investigators: organize the stimuli used to test the hypothesis, make observations, evaluate the results. Characteristic of all research designs: variables: a variable is a property of an object, organism, event, or something else that can take on different values. How frequently you is a variable that be measured and analyzed: operational definition: operational definitions are the details that define the variables for the purposes of a specific study. Data might consist of the collection of scores on the coping humour scale for each individual in the sample. Beginning of any new line of research involves descriptive data.
