Formal designation that death has changed their status. Identity markers: to not invoke the presence of the deceased, no longer speak the name of the dead; bury the possessions with them. If you speak the dead"s name u risk bringing them back to the world. Meaning in the process, develop a narrative to make the death meaningful.
