General organizational strategies: tourism planner must continue to monitor and diagnose the dynamics of the process and be ready to move between theories when the situation warrants that type of movement. It adopted tourism as an alternative economic development strategy to support new export-led growth strategies recommended by international agencies to create more jobs and establish a favourable image on the international platform by the implementation of an economic policy. Many argue that tourism perpetuates class and regional inequalities and stimulates economic, environmental and social problems, which have created considerable doubts about tourism being a reliable development strategy in the less-developed world. Many developing countries have shown that tourism has played an important role in the industrialization and economic growth at the cost of regional, class and inter/intra- generational equity since the 70"s. Although tourism has added to gross national product (gnp), it has magnified the developmental problems (inequalities) of turkey.
