Everything rotating around while earth rotating other way stars lie on great celestial sphere around earth. Stars lie at diff distances; arrow indicate where they appear to be located on the celestial sphere. Location in the sky location of things in sky > need spherical coordinate sys. On earth > use longitude & latitude (angles wrt centre of earth)
