They photograph them going into the washroom with a time then a photograph of them coming out with time. They identified them with numbers and letters. Number 1 is the first person in there, and a letter for how many times they have been in their (1a,1b) The data, video tapes were never used in courts b/c most of them plead guilty. Malls are the most frequented place for tea room trade b/c mall washrooms are in secluded spaces. Humphreys were all in public parks, out of the way. Profs were mostly in malls and 1 public park. A lot more malls since humphreys study. Malls are open year round, convenient places, free parking, shoppers make it convenient for tea room sex. Parks are riskier, hard to account for yourself what are you doing here in a mall it is obvious. These days the internet plays a major role.
