Situation + form = genre or situation + form = social action. Miller brought our attention to how the situation is social. How someone perceives a situation can be different because they"re not taught to socialize the same way. You recognize the situation as typical; you recognize the situation because you"ve seen the genre. Culture: would still recognize it but there are different ways to address the situation. More formal, condensed resume, list of experiences, short sentences. They can change an audience"s perspective about a book (more power) authority (might come from education). They focus on their past (what they have written/done and not what they want in the future). Less formal in tone, longer sentences that are descriptive, more personal aim to grab attention, since its on the internet aimed to a certain group of people its more relatable to the audience.
