Document Summary
Published: 10:24 gmt, 8 november 2012 | updated: 10:24 gmt, 8 november 2012. Last week it was revealed that ryanair had fared badly in a report that measured leg room on airlines. Squeezing knees into an less than generous seat pitches may soon not be a problem for ryanair passengers as the airline"s boss michael o"leary continues with his quest to make sections of the cabin standing room only. Michael o"leary claims legislation forcing passengers to wear seatbelts is unnecessary and is preventing his airline from introducing cheap "standing room only" sections. Mr o"leary told the telegraph newspaper that the only thing stopping him from introducing the no-seat spaces are the "plonkers" within the aviation authorities. He has suggested removing the back ten rows of seats in aircraft, allowing groups of less discerning travellers to commute to their destination on their feet for as little as 1.
