Structure- a filmmaker has to carefully plan the shots to give the right information to its audience. Film form-the overall system off relationships among the parts of a film. Film form is like a jug- narrative, mise- en scene, cinematography, etc. Gives form to every piece of film/shape. Mise-en-scene- everything in place before the camera starts to roll. Formal expectations expectations that the film for us to have, every film has some form of expectation for the viewer. A sense of what the film tries to tell us. Our experiences with other film and artworks our prior experiences. The feelings that we have when watching a film. The meanings that we read in a film. Allows us to create new alternatives with newer ways of filming.
