Document Summary

Children"s perceptions of maternal hostility as a mediator of the link between discipline (2 ivs) and children"s adjustment (2 dvs) in four countries. Whether the child thinks spanking is normal, it"ll have either a positive or negative effect on the child. Research study #6: to be discussed march 27. Introduction: many research studies have investigated whether there are associations/correlations between physical discipline and children"s adjustment. They"re gonna predict that if the child thinks its normal, you"re less likely to get negative effects and vice versa (b) If you add these variables to rate of spanking, then maybe you can explain the outcomes better: the current study elected to focus on one physical discipline strategy and one harsh verbal discipline strategy.
