Three primary, but difereniated realms: the eurasia-africa network. Huge web of exchange in the eurasia-africa network. Regional zones intersected at various key points, allowing goods to travel between circuits. E. g straits of hormuz: the american network. Trade and exchange occurred in america before europe: the paciic network. What precipitated movement within these networks: missionaries, knowledge, military. Did the networks intersect: at one point, the three networks didn"t connect at all. On movement: long distance vs local trade. Most would have operated on water based systems. Moving over distances(via land) was a lot more problemaic than by sea.
