In this module we will examine the obligations that hold within business organizations. The first section is on employers" obligations to their employees. The second is on the obligations that employees have to the companies that employ them. You will be reading 6 articles from the textbook. There will be a number of study questions to help you evaluate the degree to which you have understood the material covered. You will also have an opportunity to take part in a discussion forum based on your reading. In this section of the module, we will look at employers" obligations to their employees. In this module, we will focus on just one of these issues, namely the issue of workplace health and safety. These dangers will vary along a number of dimensions. Some dangers, such as wobbly scaffolding at a construction site, will pose immediate threats to workers" health.
