Ofice hours: ck choi 326, mw 10 -12. There are a few versions of required texts online, but in general, pick the longest one with lots of foot- or marginal notes. Reading is the most important in the class. Better to inish the readings before the lectures. Otherwise, you will just search for what is covered in the lectures in the readings and miss out the important parts. Especially for hobbes and nietzche; former has dificult language, latter has mind-blowing ideas. More important to take notes for readings instead of lectures. Adam could be the biblical igure, or a common name to represent human beings in general, or the name of a dog. Because we have knowledge of what is good and what is not we categorize leas as not good . The knowledge comes from that apple of sins. We have an idea, but it might be the wrong idea.
