Effectiveness (pragmatic) how well the medication works in real world. How well it works in the real world. You are going to test it with people who adhere. Going to use the drug under ideal circumstances, in order to show the medicine has efficacy. It has a chip in it and every time the patient opens and closes it, the memscap records it. But what you have in these trials, you"re getting white coat adherence. They"re usually getting paid to take these meds, it is nothing like real world. Ppl we know, in lots of diff research and arenas, when you are observing people, everyone behaves better! If you are watching them, and you tell them they"ll reward you if you do x, people are more likely to do x.
