Durkheim saw a lot of conlict even with dol. He saw that the dol can take on an anomic form. Anomie- normlessness o o there"s not enough regulaion so we haven"t been able to ind our roles properly and regulate each other. Ex. cyclists and drivers in vancouver - we get conlict because the rules are unclear; people don"t know what each other should be doing the less people know the rules, the more people that don"t follow them. Rapid of excessive division of labour (too fast or too much distance between parts) not able to from habits of interacion between paries. Forced forms of dol inequality of opportunity o o. Relaions are unilaterally imposed- one group has too much power, so they can impose the contract. Causes material/physical density- drawing together of segments moral or dynamic density- increased density and interacion (ex. ciies) o increase in volume and density (populaion growing)
