Humans turn to their culture for solutions. At the root of culture is solving the problem of meaning. High culture: culture consumed mainly by upper classes: superior to others, associated with education, more money. Popular culture: culture consumed by all classes: popular culture consists of the aspects of attitudes, behaviors, beliefs, customs, and tastes that define the people of any society.
