This is a agreement between all firms by sharing information, sharing revenue, sharing advertising, etc. This is exactly like the vertical marketing channel. This is where firms at different levels of production and distribution work together to achieve greater economies or sales than they would on their own. This is when one member of the distribution channels owns all of the other members of the channel. There is always one firm that is stronger than the others, and is seen as the boss. If deliveries are missed or are not on time, costs will increase. The dispatcher is the person who is responsible to co-ordinate all the deliveries.
