Serpent mounds- may be building for the creator, because can only be viewed by the air, it can be distinguished on the ground. The neolithic age- technological marker, the new stone age because new stone tools were produced and ceramics emerged and is a indicator of the change that had occurred. Monuments are associated with the advent of domestication (western megaliths) Megalith monuments are built without mortar and the majority were built without animals traction, therefore build primarily by human muscle. Silbury hill- this is a soil man made structure (not made of stone). Its not a burial mound however, because no human remains were found. Bend of the boyne- (consist of 3: knowth, newarange, dowth) The knowth- passage grave complex, its dated 3000 bc, of the large central one, and the smaller one around it are dated 4000 bc, note its not a perfect circle.
