A specialized space just for replicating the dna. The store house for all the processes involved in replicating the genome. Cytoplasm is now just for housekeeping processes. Endoplasmic reticulum acts as a set of back doors for the cell. A bacteria engulfs another one and fails to digest it. Centriole is vital in the appearance of motility. Makes microtubule strands, which provide the guide for molecular motors. When atp is burned it causes the motor to twist and swing the other foot forward. It is not random, the centriole is in someway organizing the motors and where they are located/what they move. The very first motility was probably some form of flagellum. These are the 6 supergroups, they are not a true taxanomic group. Some species of amoebozoa have a flagella in their early life before losing it, this flagella is used to pull the organism. The first flagella were used for feeding purposes.
