In order for cell to respond it needs to have a receptor. the signal must be able to bind to receptor, and the
binding of the signalling to the receptor, needs to be converted into a cellular response (transduction) it then
activates it, and amplifies it so small cellular molecules can carry out significant responses. then you have
cellular responses, different hormones generate different cellular responses.
and in the end it needs to be terminated.
