Cement: outside of the root portion of the teeth, hard structure, but less hard than dentine, attaches tooth to the periodontal ligament. In many mammals, other than humans it is also present in the crown. Tooth are formed from epidermal tissues: a structure of the skin. Formation: tooth germs present in the jaw that is being formed, enamel organ forms. Associated with dermal papillae, which have a dermal origin and will form the vascularization of the tooth: teeth begins to form and two layers of cells will differentiate. Odontoblasts create dentine: teeth form progressively and will come out from the jaw, primordium. Permeant teeth that will be formed are waiting in the early stage until the milk teeth fall.
