The levant at the end of the bronze age. It was a cosmopolitan area where things moved around a lot. Ugarit was probably the first alphabet and appeared before the sea people. Instead of having a syllable for the sound, you just had a letter. These things weren"t as good as the things coming from. Almost all the influence for the pottery is mycenaean. They seem to be the ones that people want to be like. They were involved in long distance trade at a high level. Greece was wealthy and the king had a lot of gold, exotic goods, and a lot of power. There were earthquakes that shook down the palaces and destroyed them. This earthquake is the one that knocked the megaron off the cliff. After, they began to rebuild but they bring craft production inside the citadel wall.
