If we are looking interested with our eyes it should match the rest of our face and the whole body. When thinking up a lie your pupils will shrink, then when delivering the lie your pupils dilate again. Sometimes looking away when thinking of a strong response is a body language used to basically gather information. Unplanned display of emotion that your trying to suppress in relation to facial expressions. Focuses on the thing the other person is looking at. Civil / intention norm - where ur down for a convo but just a quick one and then want to get on with day. Express with eyes to show emotional connection etc. How something is said (not just what is said) Also called vocalics (has to do with a voice) and adds meaning to our verbal expression. We use these all the time but mostly are not aware of it.
